Elder Shadowroots, the Autumn Paragon

Participation to the Character Design Challenge of may 2022 (theme : March of The Living Trees -and plants)

As a member of the Four Paragons of the woods, Elder Shadowroots awakens once a year to watch upon the circle of life during his active season. He's said to be wise, grumpy and serious, since he has to prepare the forest for the terrible frost that comes after his mission ends. Thus he manages the proper shedding of tree leaves, to ensure that the soil will be well prepared for new sprouts in spring and summer.
